Meet Our Director of Nursing – Janet Fon, RN, BSN, MPH

With more than 25 years of diverse nursing experience, Janet Fon brings a unique combination of clinical expertise, leadership, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. Her career journey spans roles as a Home Health Aide, Dialysis Technician, Director of Nursing in home care agencies, and Facility Administrator. She has also served as a MICU Nurse and Educator at Howard University Hospital, where she specialized in teaching patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) about treatment options and lifestyle modifications.

Janet’s passion lies in bridging the gap between patients and healthcare organizations. She founded Express Home & Renal Healthcare LLC to deliver compassionate, culturally competent, and high-quality care that supports patients in the comfort of their homes while helping healthcare facilities meet performance metrics.

Her expertise covers home healthcare management, bedside critical care, dialysis care, and patient education. By aligning her agency’s services with the Hospital Readmission Reduction Program (HRRP) goals, she works to improve patient outcomes, reduce hospital readmissions, and enhance the overall quality of care.

Janet leads with compassion, competence, and an unwavering dedication to ensuring that every patient receives care that respects their dignity, honors their individuality, and improves their quality of life, helping families “keep love out of the hospital.”
